Is it possbile to setup AP-105 as RAP

    Hi,
    We have Aruba 3400 controller with few AP-105. We also have 2 x RAP-3WN which is currently used on remote location to connect to the main site.

     

    Is it possible to use AP-105 as the RAP ? If yes, then how can we do it as it has only one ethernet port to connect to the LAN. However RAP-3WN has 3 x ethernet ports where 1 connect to the broadband router and other two connect to the computer/phone/network switch.

     

    Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

    Yes, you can setup an AP-105 as a rap, but you cannot backhaul wired traffic with it, no.  You would only be able to connect wireless devices to it.

    Yes, you can configure it as a RAP but it would be only for wireless use as there are no additional interfaces.
