    Hello,

    I have an Aruba7205

    it has 2 partitions.

One with os version 8 and one with os version 6.

The Mobility controller rebooted to version 8, lost all his configs and then I rebooted to version 6.

But it seems all configurations are lost.

For some strange reason I can't attach screenshots at the moment, but I see that there are still a lot of files inside, if I go to Maintenance Copy files I see a lot of them.

If I go to regulatory files, and I hope that is the place where I can restore configuration, and select one of them, and click activate. I obtain the message:

Failed to parse regulatory file default.cfg.2020-04-03_04-02-28_writemem_2020-04-03_03-12-45

Is there a way to have a working system back again?

how can I rollback to something functional?

Upgrading from 6.x to 8.x will wipe out your configuration.  I have not tried downgrading from 8.x to 6.x, but they have different configuration structures, so I would not expect it to work, at all.

so there is no possible restore using the files currently inside the Mobility controller?

What If the supplier provides the files he should have saved at the time?

How can I restore one of those files?

If the customer did a flash backup on 6.x there would be a flashbackup.tar.gz file that they would be able to restore on 6.x

there is none at the moment.

Thank you very much for your very kind answers.

Do you mind if I ask you, how is it possible to get support for that product straight from Aruba? No phone is available at this hour in my country and the asp.arubanetworks.com site keeps telling me:
