    Hi,

We have a VLAN on a controller that we want to L2-GRE-Tunnel to a second controller which don't have this VLAN. Then we want wo assign the VLAN to an SSID.

What we have done so far is this:

    http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_6_5_2_X_Web_Help/Content/ArubaFrameStyles/Network_Parameters/Configuring_GRE_Tunnels.htm#Configur

But is seems not work. The client is not getting an IP address.

    Do we miss anything?

    Regards

    René

I believe the VLAN will have to exist on each device involved - the VLAN can be pruned from the controller "without the VLAN," but it will have to have the VLAN internally to pass the traffic through.

To guess any better I'll need to see configuration snippets or a picture (or both) ;)

Please find attached a screenshots of the configuration.

The VLAN 51 is configured on Controller A only and should also be available on Controller B to assign it to a SSID.

We also configured a policy on controller B to redirect traffic to the tunnel.

    OK, seems to work now.

    Thanks msabin.

You were right, we also had to create the vlan on controller b.
