LLDP PVID mismatch between Aruba AP and Switch Aruba 3810

We have an Aruba 7030 Cloud Services Controller and an Aruba AP-225 wifi access point . The Aruba 3810 switchport connected to the wifi AP-225 is untagged vlan 603 (access) only.  There are no other vlans tagged on the Aruba switchport.  We have several wifi SSIDs associated with different vlans. One problem I am having is the HP switch connected to the AP-225 is reporting this error multiple times per day in the switch syslog: lldp: PVID mismatch on port 21(VID 603)with peer
            device port 04bd88-cba048(VID unknown)(17281)

Sometime SSIDs not broadcast to client.

If we connected the AP to Cisco Switch with access connected. There is no problem and log not appear.

You can ignore that message (or switch it off). It basically tells that the switch and AP have a different VLAN configured (603 on the switch, no VLAN on the AP).

Check this post for more info.

The message does not result in connectivity issues.

It will impact to AP that not broadcast SSIDs or not?

Our APs that connected to Aruba Switch not appear if we using Aruba Switch 3810.

I do not get any solution for this case. Why this happen between Aruba AP and Aruba Switch. If we connected to Cisco, we do get any problem.

Herman provided a link with the explanation on what you're seeing. This is an informational message only indicating that both sides of the switch link do not show they are on the same VLAN. Since this is an untagged port, there is no problem.

If the AP stops advertising SSIDs over the air, that is a separate problem and needs to looked into.

If your issue is urgent and you need to open a case for the problem, please contact TAC: http://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/contact-support/

Also, this Aruba Support KB Article would be of help understanding what the logged PVID Mismatch informational message LLDP related means (and how eventually it can be corrected).

The same explanation was initially provided on the HPE Support Portal by means of this KB Article.
