    Hi,

Lldp:PVID mismatchon port on AP ports

We received the following message on some of our HP switches lately:-

Lldp:PVID mismatchon port A15 (vid 20) with peer device port [odd character] (vid unknown) (405)

Not just one port but a few ports of the switches. The common thing is all those ports are connected to AP105.  However, not all the APs (port) generated the same error.

    Say 4 out of 10.

What I noticed is if I type the command: show llpd info remote-device

Those problem ports will show portDescr as “bond0” vs “eth1 on the one without message.

I am not sure if this will affect the normal operation. According to the HP, this would  happen if two interconnected switches are connected with different port untagged.

But .. this is an AP?

Any way to get rid of the error?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks

Are these ports configured as access ports?
