Locating an ethernet port - help

Hi there

so I'm fixing the etherchannel issues and trying to find where on the cisco device that the eth1 or eth0 is connecting to it. I do have the mac addresses of both but even if I disable eth1 I dont see the other mac address showing up. Is there an easier way to do this?

Did you tried to 'show lldp neighbors'. I believe lldp should be turned on the Cisco switch to give you the information.

Enable LLDP on the interfaces (lldp transmit, lldp receive) then display the LLDP neighbors on the Cisco side.
