Logging client connections over a period of time

    I have a 7210 controller with 3 AP-225, is there a way to log all the mac address of clients that has connected to the network over a period of time (a week, a month, a year)?

     

    Bonus question: Do the same thing with a 5000 controller running 5.0.4 OS and AP-70s.

    turn on info logging for user (and optionally security), setup rsyslog or syslogng and a logrotated policy to achieve the retention you want (or some equivalent on windows like kiwi syslog/solarwinds)

     

    if you need to cut down the amount of noise in the logs you can try using level 'notifications' rather than 'info'
