We have updated our Aruba 3400 Mobility Controllers from 6.1.3.13 to 6.4.2.4. Whilst this has been relatively successful the only issue we are experiencing is with the MESH.

At present we have 5 MESH Portals and 5 MESH Points. All Portals are registered and communicating back to the controller, however only one out of the 5 MESH Points are connected. We can see that the Portals and Points have downloaded the correct firmware for some reason the 4 MESH Points are not connecting.

We have a TAC case raised but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to resolve this issue.

    Westie5017,

Do you use Airwave to Monitor your devices? Could you see the last SNR between the portals and points on that link? If the links were borderline, sometimes they could take awhile to complete an upgrade (24 hours sometimes...).
