MSR2000 Wireless Mesh Router

    Can we use MSR2000 as wireless access point only?

     

    When we catagorize this product, whether we should consider it as WAP or router?

    Yes you can either use the two radios on MSR2000 for client coverage  or as mesh backhaul.

    I think they are consideres as WiFi Mesh routers as they have full routing capabilities.

    I have 2 number MSR 2000 in that i need to configure point to point .what is the configuration setup i need to do .

     

     

    I am new to Aruba networks.

    i have configured but it is not communication ..... any other changes. please let me know .

     

    Os version :- 4.5

     

    I cahged the host name :- node 1                                                       host name :- node2

    wireless -radio :- set mode channel :- 802.11 na .40 mhz             same

    set antenna gain to :- 14                                                                        same

     

     

    Backhaul

    Auto wds meshing :- enabled                                                               same

    max allowed links  :- 1                                                                            same

     

    short GI :- enable                                                                                     same

    nighbor distance :- 1000                                                                        same

     

    wirless setting 

    Mesh :- mesh networkid  MSR                                                             same

     

    security 

    wpa2                                                                                                           same

     

    service setting : VPLM  -enabled                                                           same
