MTBF rating

    Does anyone know where I can find the MTBF ratings for my S2500 and S3500 switches?

    MTBF figures for S3500 below all computed at 25C

     

    S3500-24P -  23.4 years / 204,891 hours

    S3500-48P - 22.3 years / 195,127 hours

    S3500-24T -  26.7 years / 234,183 hours

    S3500-48T -  25.0 years / 219,239 hours

     

    I will post S2500 MTBF figures shortly.

    S2500 MTBF at @25C

     

    S2500-48P –  219,162 hrs

    S2500-24P – 232,043 hrs

    S2500-48T – 187,026 hrs

    S2500-24T – 200,077 hrs

    Thanks. Are these numbers still valid two years later? In addition, what is the MBTF of the S1500P-12, -24, -48? Would you happen to have the MBTF of the IAP-115 and IAP-225?

    39.4 yrs / 344,812 hrs @25⁰C*

    S1500-48P
    Predicted MTBF
    36.2 yrs / 317,179 hrs @25⁰C*

    AP-115
    31.7 yrs / 277,257 hrs @25⁰C*

    AP-225
    56.2 yrs / 492,177 hrs @25⁰C*

    *Telcordia SR-332 Issue 1, Method I (Parts Count), Case 3, GB/GC (Ground Benign, Controlled) environment.
