Manage a MC 70xx in Airwave, can it?

  • 1.  Manage a MC 70xx in Airwave, can it?

    Hi there, we never used a Controller 70xx, and now are going to use it for one of our clients. Our question is:

    • can we add the MC to Airwave?
    • what can we monitor?
    • what can we manage?

    Yes it can be monitored and managed.

     

    It is no different than any other Aruba/HPE WLAN controller, really.

    Great, you say monitoring and managing in Airwave.

     

    Does that mean - managing - we can setup and configure everything fromout of Airwave, like we do in webgui in MC?

    You can collect SNMP and Amon Statistics, like any other controller, yes.  You can optionally use Airwave to configure the controller, but again, you should do this in the lab to make sure it meets your use case.  A document on using Airwave to configure controllers is here:  https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=21076
