Hello,
This is likley to be a very stupid question but I am going to ask it anyhow...
I am setting up 4 controllers, one master and 3 locals running 6.3.1.2.
The "issue" I have is that on the master a "show ap database" shows all the access points and which controller they are connected to (a snapshot of this output);
AP Database
-----------
Name Group AP Type IP Address Status Flags Switch IP Standby IP
---- ----- ------- ---------- ------ ----- --------- ----------
6c:f3:7f:cc:51:e1 HUB1 105 192.168.210.28 Up 23h:34m:11s 2 192.168.201.12 0.0.0.0
6c:f3:7f:cc:51:f0 HUB10 105 192.168.216.20 Up 40m:4s 2 192.168.201.14 0.0.0.0
6c:f3:7f:cc:92:7c HUB4 105 192.168.213.22 Up 22h:46m:55s 2 192.168.201.13 0.0.0.0
and a show ap database off one of the locals;
AP Database

Name Group AP Type IP Address Status Flags Switch IP Standby IP
---- ----- ------- ---------- ------ ----- --------- ----------
6c:f3:7f:cc:51:f0 HUB10 105 192.168.216.20 Up 44m:44s 2I 192.168.201.14 0.0.0.0

6c:f3:7f:cc:93:8d HUB8 105 192.168.215.22 Up 10h:50m:58s 2I 192.168.201.14 0.0.0.0
but a "show ap active" on all the controllers state that there are 0 ap's.
Does the flag 2I on the local have anything to do with this as the I indicates that the ap is Inactive?
I am remote at the moment so cant actually check if the SSID's are active.
I dont know if this is normal having never setup a master/local before :smileyembarrassed:
thanks
Andy
