I have a Aruba 800 Mobility controller at a remote locaction that is configured to use the Master for all it's configuration.  However, the Master controller is no longer available.  How can I safely switch the 800 Mobility controller to no longer use the master?  Mainly I am wondering how to re-configure it to no longer use the master and make configuration changes locally.  If I change the controller to be it's own matser so to speak will it lose the configuration it was pulling down from the old maste?.  I am trying to avoid completely having to reconfigure the controller from scratch.

On the local controller, just remove the master-ip configuration and reboot the controller. Once it comes back up, it will have all the configuration as before.

In short: The configuration will not get deleted by just removing the master-ip.
