We manage via airwave a customer site with 16 215 IAPs. Since OS 4.3.1 they have issues with roaming on 2.4ghz. Especially 2 android devices. It takes a long time to have a connection again. We have enabled client match, done proper channel planning on 2.4ghz en reduces radio signal strength.

Btw at another customers site they have trouble in a warehouse on 2.4ghz woth honeywell handguns.

In Airwave we can not find proper information what is going wrong with apecific clients - only globalnissies like too many frame errors for example.

Any can help or point into good direction?

You should put the mobile device into site survey mode and see how many APs you can see at -65 and stronger when you are halfway between two access points.

Each device has a specific roaming threshold.  If you can find out what that threshold is, you can then do an informal survey with that device to see if the power on the APs is enough to exceed that threshold for smooth roaming.  None of this information can be collected or presented in Airwave, as it is device-specific, and written into device drivers, typically.

You might have roaming issues at another site for the same or different reasons.  We should only focus on a single set of data at one time.
