    Good Afternoon Airheads,

I'm looking for some advice regarding mounting an AP 225.  I'm replacing an existing Cisco AP and the the mounting location is on the underside of a steel I-beam/girder in a warehouse environment about 30 ft in the air.  All I have been able to find officially is the wall mounting kit when what I believe I need is more of a mounting plate and clamps of some sort.  Just looking for some direction from folks who may have dones something like this before to see what they used.

    Regards,

I have used the wall mount bracket (AP-220-MNT-W1) in a steel beam using self tapper screws. Mounted to both wall and ceiling.

You can consider using a standard Aruba mount kit with standard "C"/Beam clamps.   Such as Granger 3KF30 to mount it to the I-Beam.

Is that an AP enclosure?  If so, what is the model/part number?

What type of screws did you use with the C beam clamps on the plastic mount kit?
