My AP (205) after provisioning still showing in provisioning list. Any idea?

 

Are there any flags?

Yes, There is a flag "I - Inactive".

Usually when the AP show the flag “I” or “Inactive”, that mean that the AP is not broadcasting any SSID

That may be caused by

• VAP Inactive
• VLAN not mapped to the VAP
• AP provisioned with the “default” AP group (without any modification).

let me get more clarity, is that AP listed when you select "AP installation" in GUI ? if yes please confirm whether the AP group is changed to the new AP-Group or still showing as default.

Ok. If the flag is I then look at the following configuration,

 

1. Is the VLAN mapped to the VAP is available in the controller ?

2. put show profile-errors to check for errors.

Hi,

Yes, the AP is listed in "AP Installation".
The AP group is changed.
And I put the "Master Controller IP".
Others options not touched.

Check whether the VAP is properly configured and mapped. check the VLAN mapped to the VAP.

 

use show profile-errors to find some reasons.

Are there any licenses installed?

even good provisioned APs will show up in that list.

 

the I flag isn't good, you could check your logs to see if you can find a reason for it there.
