I would like the AP's to obtain an IP address from our standard DHCP server that serves or pc's. Do I need to make changes to the AP's config? What are the steps that the AP takes in looking for a DHCP server?

APs default to DHCP out of the box. Are wired clients in the same VLAN getting an address?

Yes, they are on the same subnet.

By default Aruba APs obtain their IP from DHCP. The AP will follow the normal process any other device would to request a DHCP address. Just be sure if you're using a mobility controller that you have the proper discovery method in place (DHCP Option 43, DNS (aruba-master.yourdomain.com), or ADP if it's in the same subnet).

Thanks.  ADP is on by default, right?
