Need an opinion

    Hi guys I am new to all of this. The nature of my business subscription based access to wifi hotspots.

    And I am considering  expanding my network but for hardware I am thinking about Huawei AP6510DN-AGN and AP6610DN-AGN but I am not sure will they work with ClearPass? Has any one used Huawei access point hardware with ClearPass and how was your experience?

    If they use standards-based RADIUS, they will work. ClearPass works with
    nearly everything that follows IETF and IEEE standards.

    IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n so I guess it should work.

    I meant more along the lines of authentication standards.

    what about switches? Does clearpass work with Huawei switches and also access controllers?

    the same applies as with access points, if the switches use RADIUS for authentication of users / ports then they can work with ClearPass. for the rest it usually depends on what the switches supports, ClearPass can do pretty much everything.
