Anyone got info of this?  it would be cheaper than a 105? or expensive?

I saw that on the release notes of the 6.4 it says support for Aruba AP 103

What is the AP-103?

AP-103 is a low cost dual radio 802.11n 2x2 access point, targeted at low density, low-cost deployments.

The AP-103 will be offered in both controller-based (AP-103) and Instant (IAP-103-RW/US) flavors.

There will be no external antenna version.

The AP-103 has a similar form-factor as the AP-11x series.

 

Pricing should be on the March pricelist when published.

i think that the ap93will go end of sale before 105...

I think it is both APi93 and AP105 then, got some news that this is coming.

There is no external antenna for this AP model.

It is from my Aruba Country Manager and pricing should be USD395.00 same price as AP93.:smileysurprised:

Until the March Pricelist is published, any day now, any pricing stated here is speculation.

Soon............soon.  Pricing will be in the ballpark someone stated earlier but no guarantees for a few more days till the pricelist comes out.

 

The IAP version will likely be available 4 - 8 weeks after the AP-103 and the number of IAP-103 per cluster will be unlimited like the IAP-105.   That makes this an easy upsell to the IAP-93 and gets you past the limitations of the IAP-93.

Really hope the price is 395, will be a really good weapon agains HP and Rukus(on price) as we already know aruba is better ;P

Hmmmm I was told by my country manager that 395 is the number.

And mostlikely will be... but Marcus cannot say it until the list price of march is out.

 

I really hope they do not chnage of mind and put it on that price, it will be a big push in latin america!, that would be start being my most sold AP :)

Guys, it is official USD395.00 and the Max Transmit power is for both radios are +21dBm and works on AirOS 6.4.1.0 and InstantOS 4.1.0.0. Happy selling and win more deals.

It is not on the March pricelist for EMEA. But I'm assuming that it will be the same price as the AP-93.

 

When will it be deliverable in EMEA?

Check with your local SE but we have started selling. IAP version will be out in May for my country.

Anyways if this is true then it would be really good for our battlefield here agains HP, Meraki, and Rukus.  On instant mode would be a cheaper solution...

Ill be hoping the release of hte AP on instant mode we really need that! :)

The bad thing of the AP 93 was that it was limited on instant mode and also it was single radio and it was difficult to compete agains other brands which were cheaper.

 

Marcus what about the cluster size it will be unlimited like the 105 AP?
