How are you trying to access the WebUI?

Could it be that there is configuration on the controller which makes the factory default IP is not reachable?

Do you have access to the serial console port to see the actual configuration and test connectivity?

I can login by serial adn feset to factory defaults with the ecteption of the ip config

    System name: CurlHomeWiFi
    Switch Role: master
VLAN 1 interface IP address: 192.168.1.60
VLAN 1 interface subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    IP Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
    Time Zone: PST-8:0
    Ports shutdown: no

I am using chrome to access the web GUI by entering 192.168.1.60 I can login but I just get a gray screen

I think to remember that there has been an issue some years ago where browser updates broke the WebUI.

    What firmware are you running?

Can you upgrade to the latest supported for the 650 (I think that is version 6.4.4.22)?

Can you try different browsers or older versions of them to see if that makes a difference?

That is  easy to to as long as you have ip connectivity.

Set up a tftp server (eg. https://tftpd32.jounin.net/) and point it to the directory where you have the new firmware downloaded.

Then from CLI check what partition is currently used:

    show image version

Then just use the copy command to copy the firmware file to, preferably, the other partition.

    (Aruba7005b) #copy tftp: 1.1.1.1 ArubaOS_6xx_6.4.4.22_72860 system: partition ?
    0 Partition 0
    1 Partition 1
    <cr>

    (Aruba7005b) #copy tftp: 1.1.1.1 ArubaOS_6xx_6.4.4.22_72860 system: partition 1

When that is done the controller will tell you to reboot. Reboot and voila.. you should be done.
