    Hi, I was about to add roles in our SSID, suddenly, it won't let me add more. Is there a limit for this function?

    There are no per-SSID limits for roles.

    Here is where I'm adding the roles....

    It won't let me add more. I added 16 already

    Those aren’t roles. Those are derivation rules. You should be using a RADIUS server instead of those. They’re designed for very basic usage.

    Can you help me set up RADIUS server and then adding these rules to that server?

    I have an Aruba IAP and we enforced all VLANs to that AP so basically, it handles 6 VLANs now. We are currently using Role derivation which will allow an employee to connect to a Single SSID but will get a different IP (If an employee is in the sales department, he/she must be connected to the domain "SALES")using the device's mac address. As you mentioned, I should use the RADIUS Server in assigning user roles. Are there any steps on how to do the same function that we have right now with the RADIUS Server?

    Return back the role name using the Aruba-User-Role VSA.

    Do we have a step by step manual for this? I'm new to Aruba Instant. I haven't familiarized the functions yet. Thank you so much!
