OAW-AP175 console problems

    Hi all, I had a configuration problem where the AP175 cannot connect to the aruba-master.

     

    I followed the procedure noted in "http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Aruba-Instant/How-do-I-reset-IAP-175-to-factory-settings/td-p/48296" 

     

    I can get to the apboot> prompt  but then the AP cannot accept/display the factory_reset command or any other command that I have issued at the prompt. I've tried different machines, cables, terminal programs but no joy?

     

    Can anyone help with this problem?

    The only thing I can think of is to make sure flow control is not on.  If you get to apboot, it must be accepting some input....
