I have a standlone lab controller(model 7005) i want to disable ADP on so prod ap's dont start finding it(which just happened to me this morning!).  I tried running "adp discovery disable" which seems to be the command to run from what i can find but it just says invalid input detected at the word disabled.  I have tried running it in config mode and in different contexts(/mm, /mynode, etc) but it does not work no matter what i try. What do i have to do exactly to get adp disabled on this controller in 8.3? Thanks!

(Aruba7005) [mynode] (config) #adp discovery disable
    ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

I had tried that with no success but i just tried it agian with a write mem and it works.  Thank you for your help.

Just so its clear for when future me googles this or if someone else is wondering.

if you run "no adp discovery" and dont "write mem", "show adp config" will still show discovery as enabled.  If you do "write mem" after running "no adp discovery" it will show as disabled.

    Glad to hear it works.
Running stand alone AOS8 is a little confusing. Even with one controller, it is still running as master-local as we have been known (not stand alone master like previous AOS). You always need wirite mem to push the configuration down to the local or the configuration keeps stay in pending mode
