Hi, anyone know why an old controller has the attached self signed cert, and not the usual Geotrust cert thats on most controllers ?

What version of ArubaOS is this and what controller platform?

Old 6000 controllers with S1 cards, running version 5 firmware...  I guess this is the answer

That does not look familiar.  It is possible that someone uploaded their own certificate to that controller.  You can use the "show tpm cert-info" command to see the factory certificate on that controller:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_64x_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/1CommandList/showtpmcertinfo.htm

I originally thought the same, but had another customer with an unused S1 controller and this had the exact same cert. Upgraded to a later V5 code but no difference.
