Is it possible or is there a guide to configure a single corporate dot1x ssid which can be used by staff and students alike?  Each set of users (staff/students) will be placed into different roles and will obtain a different vlan accordingly.  I've seen in the past where you map 1 ssid to a role which places you a specific vlan but I'd like to try and do this same thing with 1 ssid instead of 2 separate ssids.

    Not using Clearpass.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I should have stated that.  I'm using Windows 2008 R2 as the radius server.

You can use filter-ids to return the user-role (staff or student AD group) and under the user-role you can assign the VLAN

Or use the Aruba VSA to return the VLAN and user-role
