    Hi,

I have a quick question about the Open (Guest) SSID traffic. Is there any way we can encrypt the Guest user traffic AFTER the user has authenticated and assigned a role?

Also, there is a GRE Tunnel between the client and the controller, though there's no encryption, correct? So, for a packet capture, its still difficult to sniff the actual packets AFTER the user is authenticated? Please let me know.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

For the first questions I don't think it is possible.

For 2nd question, traffic from AP to controller is GRE encapsulated. If you want to sniff those packets, Aruba has a wireshark version with plug-in enable to look inside the GRE encapsulation.

You can get it from Aruba support site --> Tools and Resourcer --> Wireshark
