Outdoor Access Point 375 with LACP

    Hi guys and gals,

     

    Is LACP supported for the Instant AP 375 & 377 on their two ports?

     

    I am running InstantOS 8.3.0.1, and have it working on a 277 with two ethernet ports.  The 3810m switch is configured for LACP and the link comes up fine - verified on both AP and Switch that LACP is used and both ports are up.

     

    However--- Since the secondary port for the 370-series has an SFP port, I bought a HP Cat6 RJ45 SFP (J8177C) and popped it in there.  Same ports of the Switch, and same configuration on the AP, but no LACP and the SFP port is down.

     

    Any help will be appreciated!

    LACP typically requires the same media type.

    Does an copper SFP that is negotiated at the same speed and duplex as the regular copper port not count?

     

    I'm seeing messages on the switch that say "Blocked by LACP"... does that help?
