Hi,

 

Does anyone seen anything like this in controller logs:

 

Feb 17 16:11:59  syslogdwrap[1710]: PAPI_Send: sendto BLE Relay Controller failed: No such file or directory Message Code 1005 Sequence Num is 12457

I could not find any explanation to this. The controller is 3200 and software is 6.4.3.3 (build 50954)

Actually I would like to know why I´m seeing that kind of logs in a controller?

What I have to do to not have those? I tried "no logging level" command but that does not helpped.

 

those log keep pushing on every 6 seconds and that is annoying :)

We have opened a bug for this. I will let you know when it is fixed.  It will require a code upgrade to your controller, however.

Hi,

I recently upgraded to AOS6.4.3.6 and am now seeing these BLE Relay Controller Failed messages in my syslogs.   I do not have any 7 series conrollers on my network. 

Is there a way I can disable the BLE management to stop the messages?

Nothing that will stop the message.  We will post here when it is fixed.

What controller platform and what version of code are you running?

 

We are running AOS6.4.3.6

The fix has not been patched to any code on the website.  I will update this post when it has been patched.

It's been several years since this post was last updated and my syslog is still showing this error:

 PAPI_Send failed, send_papi_message_with_arg

 

Is there a way to either resolve the issue causing this message or disable the message (makes for a lot of static to go through when trying to find valid issues in my error logs).

What version of ArubaOS are you using?  What controller are you using?  What access points?

i have 3x IAP-225 devices, one of them is the master (none of them is a preferred master -- the election process is up to them).

No controller is used (other than the virtual controller they setup and shift to the current master).

IAP Firmware: 6.4.2.6-4.1.3.0_54915

The message that the user was talking about was seen on the controller platform, not IAP.  For reporting and bug purposes, it is different.  Please PM me so that we can open a case for what you are seeing.
