    I have a queation
    By default. access port of AP is either access port or trunk port?
    can we configure AP's port to access or trunk ?

    You can configure the mode of the AP's switchport by going to the Advanced tab in "Wired AP profile"2013-05-30 14_16_59-AP Group.png

    Please confirm one more thing... what is the difference between Forward mode and SwitchPort Mode

    Switchport mode can either be trunk or access. Trunk port carried tagged traffic while access port carried un tagged traffic.

    What is the mean of Forward mode here?

    Your choices under forward mode are bridged mode, split-tunnel, or tunnel.  This is going to determine how the user traffic is forwarded to the network.

     

    In tunnel mode, user traffic is sent back to the controller and distributed from there.  With split-tunnel mode, traffic designated as internal network traffic is tunneled back to the controller while all other traffic is dropped off onto the network that the AP is connected. In bridged mode, traffic is dropped off onto the network that the AP is connected.

     

    This is a very simplified explaination but I hope it helps.
