    Hi Aruba team,

Do you know how can i obtain the serial number of the power supplies via CLI Controller?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,

    Alberto.

    Hi Alberto,

If you don't mind, please let me know the reason/use-case for getting the serial number of power supply

    on 6000 controller.

We normally use the backplane serial number in case any replacements of the power supplies are needed.

    Hi again,

I need those serial numbers because Aruba request them to renew maintenance. I need the serial number of each power supply of each controller (3 supplies per Controller),  to allow full maintenance for 2 controllers.

I can not restart the controller or disconnect, so I require some other method besides the disassembly the controller.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Alberto,

    Thank you for the info.

I am not aware of any other command to get the serial numbers for the power supplies.

if possible, try to check with the renewals team if the backplane serial number will work.

The output for show inventory has the backplane serial no .
