Preload software on APs

    Hello, 

    we did an upgrade today on AOS8 for the mobility master and our lab controllers. we have 50 APs in a lab setting (our IT office) and 2 controllers in a cluster. yesterday to test preload on the APs we downloaded the code onto the controllers and preloaded the Aps with the new code. it all worked. however, when i started the live upgrade today most of the Aps were preloaded again with 7 out of the 50 reporting "no preload required". has anyone else run into this issue?

    we are moving along with the upgrade and will be doing a live upgrade at out large site with 1300 Aps and would like to use the preload prior to the live upgrade to speed up the process.

    AP OS Pre-Load is part of the live upgrade process

    AP Preload is not supported in combination with cluster upgrade, nor needed as mentioned in the other reply.
