I'm new to the Aruba's, but I have only access to the web interface managed by our IT department. They are neither inclined or don't have the time to look into this.

The problem for us seems to be when a person roam's from one AP to another. They time out and can't get connected again for several minutes.

We have 4 AP-225. It' happens on OSX and Windows.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using Client Match? Are you sure of your coverage?

Client match is on, I can see in the logs, but I might not have accress to ARM config in my interface, or I don't see it and don't know how to pulll up on web interface. But It does show client match in logs.

    - What type of Authentication are you guys using ?

    - How far apart are these APs from each other ?

    - Are these APs attached to the same controller ?

    - Are these APs in the same AP-Group ?

What are your min and max power settings (12 min 18 max is a typical starting point)? Are you using band steering? If you're on 6.3.x or above are you using client match?

    Max 24

    Min 9

That shows up in logs, so I'm assuming it's on.

    Client match is on.

    blackwek,

The Min and Max parameters are located in the diagram below on the controller.  You should try the min at 12 and the max at 18 to see if your roaming problems decrease.  At issue is that if the power is high clients will "stick" to access points much longer and create the roaming issue that you mention.
