    Hello All,

    I'm having this weird problem.

a computer connected to a RAP-2WG with it's wired interface E1 and with WIFI otherwise.

When connecting to the wired profile, everything is ok, but when the computer connects with WIFI something strange happens.

The wireless network card receives an IP-Address that is on the same VLAN on the controller.

But when I try to ping to this IP, no response packet is being received.

On the controller, on the  WLAN overview, I can see that the WLAN is being broadcasted, and I can see that this RAP 2 is broadcasting the WLAN, but when I check the connected devices on the controller, no connected clients are shown.

On the laptop it self, it shows that it is connected with the WLAN.

All settings on the wireless network  card are ok, Default gateway, DNS, ...

Anyone has a clue how I can check the wireless state of the RAP or how I can check the settings on the controller?

Or anyone has a clue what is going wrong?

    Kind regards

    Torenhof

In the virtual ap for the wlan, what vlan are users being placed in?

This is the same VLAN as the WAP VLAN

    or what do you mean?

I suggest you turn on user debugging to see exactly what is going on with that wlan.

    Config t
    Logging level debugging user
    Show log user 50

This is what I get as output:

    Mar 21 01:25:45 :522027:  <WARN> |authmgr|  MAC=e4:11:5b:f4:27:be IP=10.2.70.197 IP Spoof from MAC=ac:81:12:d3:51:ba role=ROLE_HQ_FRA/(null)

The one MAC-address is from the Wifi network adapter and the other from the wired network adapter

Not sure what to think of this?

In the aaa profile, make sure that enforce dhcp is enabled. Delete both users from the user table and try again.
