    Hello,

I have two 3600 controllers installed with redundancy and need to update the ArubaOS version on the cluster.

I am looking to find the correct procedure on how to accomplish this on both controllers to minimize downtime.

Can someone let me know the correct procedure or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

What version you currently have installed ?

What version are you planning to upgrade to ?
Make sure you have a copy of the backupflash

1-make sure you have enough space delete any unused files : crash.tar , logs.tar, backupflash
2-you can load it on the unused partition
3-if you have LMS primary/backup , remove the backup IP address and added back after the upgrade has been completed
4-since the code is in the unused partition once reboot the controller will come up on the version
5- you should reboot all the controllers at the same time

What AOS are you upgrading to ?

Make sure you read the release notes of the AOS you are planning to upgrade to.

We are currently running 6.1.3.1 and need to upgrade to a version that will allow us to use Air Group.

I was planning on installing the early release 6.3.0.0 to accomplish this.

I currently have 6.3 on a test environment , there's a 6.1.3.6 air group AOS available you should probably consider that one since 6.3 is fairly new.

Thank you very much for the suggestion, I will procede with 6.1.3.6-airgroup ArubaOS. However, I am unable to find this version on the support website in the download section.  I am seeing the 6.1.3.6 level in the archive section but I do not see an image with the Air Group designation.

Can you tell me where I can find this image?

    Thank you.
