Process for upgrading Instant from 6.x to 8.x?

  • 1.  Process for upgrading Instant from 6.x to 8.x?

    I will be upgrading via Airwave. Is it just a straight upgrade?

     

    (I am aware of the 6 --> 8 process for controller upgrades. I have not found any specific documentation about Instant upgrades)

    The upgrade is straight forward. Even if the numbering show otherwise, it is a normal upgrade. If everything went fine, you will not lose the config, as with the controllers, and after the reboot your IAP's will be up and running as before, just with the new version.
