Hey all. Im prepping a 500 seat auditorium for wireless networking. The room is roughly 100' x 100' and the ceiling spans from 20' to 30' . Im trying to come up with ideal antenna location in the ceiling. Is there an easy way to see the floor coverage a 60degree antenna would provide from different heights?

I cannot answer your question in specific, but I can refer you to a document about all the the considerations for deploying High Density Networks - The High Density Wireless for Auditoriums is here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/technology/reference-design-guides/

thanks cjoseph, I've read and am using that pdf for my planning. It doesn't really cover how much of the floor is covered by an antenna mounted 20' above the floor. I feel like its some basic math im overlooking here. lol
