"The existing channel and power assignment functions in ARM support channel scanning, channel assignment and power adjustments, locally. Decisions are made locally at the AP without looking at the entire network." -From TB_AirMatch.pdf

Does it means channel and power assignment functions in ARM only works with single controller?

For example, If we have two controller in master-local deployment.

Access point A is managed by master controller.

Access point B is managed by local controller.

And ARM is working separately on both controllers?

ARM won't collect the information from Access point A & B?

    Thanks

Each AP is independently making decisions based on the configuration of ARM on the controller it terminates on.

I don't believe ARM collects information.

Sorry, i thought the ARM function like clientmatch was processing on controller.

But how does AP do the power adjustment if its processing by itself?

Controller will give the information about neighbor AP's status to AP?

    Thanks

An AP detect neighbouring APs by themselves. Then make decisions based on the ARM settings and the neighbouring APs that the AP can detect.

    Understood.

    Thanks for you explanation.
