    Hello

I got a question about this scenario

There are a few clients we got that got like many remote sites with small controllers, and well on each site up to 8 APs

Now what i ill propose them is

1-Airwaves for monitoring(of course they can always configure from this.

2-Maybe an aruba 3400 on their datacenter for redundancy

The idea behind it its giving them redundancy and central managment, as well the 3400 will be the master controller which will push the configuration to the local controllers on each site.

Now here are my 2 questions

1-IS the deisign im proposing okay? or there is somethign else i should take in mind?

    2-If im dong redundancy

Note: all sites are going to the datacenter with private links(no vpn)

I ll be doing this with LMS... as that is what i understand on the Redundancy VRD for this kind of deployment of many to one.

The 3400 is enough to handle Many sites failures at ones but not of ALL of them at the same time tho but  a bigger controller will be really expensive(i think thats up to the client)

Any other recommendation that should be taken before proposing this? :)

In my opinion, that is the correct approach.  Do not design for 100% redundancy if it is not a requirement, because it could be very costly and is not very likely.
