    Is it possible to bridge the RAP-3 to an existing wireless network instead of using E0 for the WAN link?  Does it support bridging or WDS?

    No, this is not supported.

    bit out of my zone, but cant you use an RAP3 as instant? it will get wireless uplink mode then and probably even vpn to controller option right?

    The RAP3 by default comes as an instant...  It supports all of the instant features that you mention, as well.
