    Hey Guys,

I need to setup a RAP 109 for use an external event. For this to work at the site, i need to speak with the local network guys.

Is there anything specific i need to ask them to do for it to work?

IE: Do i need to get them to unblock ports on their firewalls?  Or is there anything else i need to ask them for it to work?

    Any help much appreciated! :)

    Thanks

You'll need to make sure the RAP can contact the controller over UDP 4500.  You'll also need to make sure DNS is allowed if the RAP is provisioned by hostname and not IP.

Yup that should do it.    I would definitely provision them first; and just make sure you are clear to the event staff so you are not troubleshooting when you get there.

open the following ports on the firewall to make RAP able to communicate with the controller
     4500 UDP
     69 UDP
