    Hi,

I've got a RAP3 connected over the internet to a 3200XM controller. Using the LAN pors on the RAP 3 I can connect to our headquarters LAN through the 3200XM controller. However I can't get the WLAN to work on the RAP3.

I've greated a new WLAN for the AP Group which the RAP 3 is asigned to. The forwarding mode for the AP Group is set to Tunnel, intended for Internal use with Open Authentication. When the RAP connects to the Controller the WLAN light is amber and no WLAN avaliable.

Before converting the RAP3 I updated its software, the version of the controller software is also updated to 6.2

    Any suggestions ?

    thanks

Does the VLAN in the VAP exist on the controller?

When you type "show ap database" are there any flags next to the RAP3's entry?

Hi, Sorry for taking so long to reply. My licence exprired just after posting the problem.

When I ran show ap database i can see Flag R-c2 for this RAP.

The RAP is assigned to an AP Group called Default, it wireless LAN settings are set to use VLAN 1 and this is assigned to Port 3 which is NATed out to the internet.

Only one port is connected to our LAN, Port 3, and this is working for the LAN connection from the RAP.
