RAP3 with AP125

    Hi All;

     

    I'd like to configure a RAP3 as a Virtual Controller, and use two AP125 (one connected in ETH2 and configured as a Mesh Portal, and another as a Mesh Point). I have a small branch office, but I need to use Mesh Points to cover all environment. 

     

    This is a possible configuration? Or just using IAP models?

    This scenario won't work for you using a VC , you will need an actual controller to do this with AP125's .

    But this could work if you had a couple of dual band IAPs

    The AP125 is a controller managed model. To use Instant and the virtual controller all APs must run instant (either the newer rap models or an IAP). If you need a low cost low density solution you might want to look at the IAP-103 as its list price is 395.
