I have a remote site with 2 remote access points. The SSID they are on is set to bridge mode.

I have a new wireless printer there. Only clients connecte to the same SSID as the printer can print to it. Other clients can see the printer, but cannot complete the connection and cannot print.

I'm sure I have a setting I need to change on the wifi.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Are the clients that need to print on the same VLAN or different VLAN?

All are on the same VLAN.

Both APs use the same AP system profile.

    Thanks for replying Colin.

Can the client ping the printer?  Are you trying to add the printer using discovery or printing directly to an ip address?  What troubleshooting have you done?

At first I could not ping it. Then I pinged the computer from the printer without an issue.  I was then able to ping the printer from the computer.

I was still unable to print.

I tried adding as an IP printer, but that would not work either.

I've tried this from both a Mac and a Windows computer.

I can browse it, see it on the network, but only print to it while on the same AP as it.

Also works fine when I run a network cable across the floor. IP address is in the same subnet wired/wireless.

try changing out the session acl "ap-uplink-acl" in the ap system profile to something that allows inbound access from the network to the AP, you can test it by just putting "allowall" there.

    conf t
       ap system-profile <your rap system profile>
           session-acl allowall
       !
    !

    hth.

That worked, thanks. Must have been something blocking it.
