Remote AP's dropping traffic when a new client associates

    Hey guys,

We're having an issue on an Aruba650 with 6.1.3.5.

We have around 20 remote AP's at various sites operating in bridged mode, with the controller at head office. Users authenticate with user accounts in the internal DB.

When a new client associates with one of the remote AP's, clients with an existing association get packet loss. Network traffic resumes throughput once the association is complete.

Is this expected behaviour? Can anyone else reproduce this? Is there a resolution for this?

    Thanks,

    -3nvy

Bump - I'm just waiting on the customer to give the go ahead to renew their support contract as it expired over the Christmas break. Once this has been renewed, I'll be logging a support ticket with Aruba support.

In the interim, does anyone else experience this behaviour?

Or better yet, does anyone run RAP's in bridge mode and can associate new clients WITHOUT existing clients having network interruptions?

    Thanks!
