Remote Ap will not reboot after upgrade

    I have a remote AP-61 that I moved from  a   650 controller running 6.0.1.0 to another one running 6.1.3.4

The ap downloads the new version ok but does not reboot.

If I reboot it manually it comes up fine.

All of the aps are at remote locations and I will not be able to manually reboot them.

Any ideas as to why the reboot fails?

How do you know it upgrades?

If I manually power it off and on it comes up  to the new version on boot

Try upgrading the controller to the last version of AOS on 6.0 which is 6.0.2.0, see if the AP comes up.

Then upgrade the controller to 6.1.3.4.

    Also,

try enabling ap-debug on the AP possibly network logs as well

    (config) #logging level debugging ap-debug <ap-name>.

You should see possibly why there if it does not reboot.

How did you "move" it from one controller to another?  Are you sure it is not finding the Old controller when it upgrades, somehow?

Do you have the master and local controller on the same AOS code ?
