I am having trouble renaming an AP that has already been provisioned. I have tried using the webGUI by going to AP Installation > Provision and then changing the name to what I want it to be. The AP reboots, but comes back online with the old name. I have tried changing the AP group back to default but after AP reboots, it's still in the same group. I have even tried 'clearing' the ap from the controller, but that didn't make a difference either. I also logged into the controller via ssh and used CLI to change the name using the command:
rename-ap ap-name <ap-name> <new-name>
but again, after the AP comes back online, it still has the old name. I've checked logs on controller and it says the ap-rename was successful. Any ideas?
