Rename an access point with bad name :-/

Hi there,

I have got an Aruba7210 controller with running.

Output from show ap database:

" AP-GH-HV-U14"                      gwag   205  Up 21h:47m:31s       2

I want to rename the ap. During provisioning I renamed it with two " (quotationmarks) and blank / space letter.

Are there any solution without resetting the ap?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Rename an access point with bad name :-/

use "show ap database long" to get the wired mac address.

Rename using the wired mac address:

"ap-rename wired-mac"
