    Hi,

Is it possible to make weekly report on Down and Up AP`s (access points). I already set the trigger on "Device down" and "Device up", but also need summary of the week.

    For eg. :

    [time] device DOWN
    [time] device UP

    Version: AMP 7.7.9

    Thank you in advance !

Go into the reports and create a custom device uptime report.uptime.png

Thank you cjoseph for your suggestion.

In my case this uptime report is not very useful.

Nevertheless I found the way to make what I needed. Maybe for someone will be helpful.

As I mentioned before I am already had triggers on Device up/Device done. So all AMP Alerts on Up/Down I found in System > Alerts.

Lastly I download export CSV file and import to Excel.

I hope for somebody this information will be helpful.

    Good luck

    draugas,

Oh, you wanted the up/down events with timestamps?

That information is provided by the controller via syslog.  If you don't want to have to export from Airwave, just have syslog on the controller be sent to an external syslog collector and filter based on up or down.

I believe this is what I'm looking for too.  I have a number of Access Points on Wireless Carts.  They get plugged in / unplugged throughout the week.  I'd like a report that runs for a specific AP which states something like:

    3/24/15  Up 3:35pm

    3/24/15  Down 4:20pm

    3/24/15  Up 5:00pm

    Is there anything like this?

Depending on time span, you can also make use of the AMP event logs:

    /var/log/amp_events

I was able to get it pretty close using:

    # cat /var/log/amp_events | grep -i system | grep -i 'up\|down' | grep -v update
