Hi fellas. I have a Aruba620 controller and having trouble accessing web ui. I cannot access it but still can SSH (putty) into the device.WebUI-Err.png

    I have 3 VLANs let's call them :

    1. vlan 410 for staff

    2. vlan 420 for Guest

    3. vlan 430 for Mobile device.

normally, all traffice is routed thru a Cisco switch. Now, I have just been requested to route all traffice from VLAN 420 & VLAN 430 thru a dedicated internet leaseline .

Could someone help me to figureout how to seperate the 2 routes? how to physically connect the new leaseline internet and command line routing ?

    Thank you very much.

Hi, the reason for your certificate error is due to the certificate being revoked.

    https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/ArubaOS-Default-Certificate-Revocation-FAQ-Controllers/ta-p/275809

Where does the clients default gateway for VLAN 420 and VLAN 430 exist? This device should be doing your routing.

Take a look at the below, if you wish to have two gateways for the controller to send the traffic you may need to consider PBR or similiar.

By the way, I can access WebUI (using firefox) but cannot do anything after login. I have captured the erro from the console. Could you have a look please. Firebug-console.png

When you say you can't do anything, what exactly do you mean? You can log-in successfully and see the Dashboard page? Or is everything greyed out and you can't make changes?

If this is a local controller then you can only change certain items, the majority of the configuration is pushed from a master controller...or you have a Read Only admin account? Check the controller role using the command below:

    #show roleinfo

    hi Zailon0.

    here is my role :

role_info.pngwhen I say I cannot do anything, I mean that I cannot use any function with web ui. Click on link, go to the page but blank .

    Hi ,

The fimrware 5.0.2.0 is very old & is not even supported.

There are high chances of compatibility issues if the WebUI with the browser that you are using.

Please try using compatibility mode in Internet explorer to see if it allows you to access the WebUi.

    thank Singla.

I try to emulate IE 10 / 9/ 8 but the certificate revoked won't let me view the page. Any chance I can upgrade the firmware ?

    Hi,

    Controller model is 620.

In the screenshot , you have a field called AP -type.

What is the model number of the access point ?

If you visit the HPE support site you can upgrade your controller to ArubaOS 6.4 which will in turn upgrade the AP105's. This release has support for later browsers. Ensure you read the release notes and follow the recommended upgrade path.

    Thank you,

But I cannot find my Product Number on the device to add to HPE device list. Where to find my product number on 620 model ?

The below output will give you the product number (serial)

    (Lab-001) #show inventory

    System Serial# : XXXXXX01
