    Hi,

Is there an option in latest codes 6.5.0.2/ 6.5.0.3 to have the AP packet captures locally on the AP/controller.

The client datapath captures can be stored locally on the controller by defining local file system as the destinalon. Howver for AP packet captures could see no such option.

Is there any way possible to have AP packet captures to be captured locally on the controller the way its possible for control path and datapath packet captures?

There is limited space to store the packet captures,.. is why you are only allowed to stream it to a management station running packet capture software..

I am having 7240 with ample memory. There are situations wherein its not always feasible to have the remote server running wireshark available in the network. Thus was lookiing for the option of added flexibility of having it copied locally on the controller.

Also for the control path/ datapath packet captures, the packet captures of only 15 mb are stored (3 files, each of size 5120 KB) on the controller flash. Is there an option to increase this buffer?

Adnan, that option does not exist.  Please file a request for enhancement here:  https://arubanetworkskb.secure.force.com/cp/ideas/ideaList.apexp
